FROM CONFLICT TO CONNECTION WITH EMPATHY:
MEDIATION BASED ON NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION

Do you get involved in more conflicts than you would like and are you looking for ways to resolve them with compassion and empathy? Or are you a professional mediator interested in additional tools to contribute to connection between conflict parties? Maybe you also frequently interact in English in your private or work life and/or would like to improve your English communication skills? If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, our conflict resolution skills trainings based on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) are right for you.  You will learn to apply NVC Mediation skills at work, at home, during travel, with a partner, children, neighbors, friends or colleagues.

NVC Mediation stands for mediation based on Nonviolent Communication developed by Marshall Rosenberg, John Kinyon and Ike Lasater. Our trainings demonstrate and teach conflict resolution skills to help you transform your own internal and interpersonal conflicts and to informally or professionally help others to find solutions to their conflicts. They support learning and skill development to:

  1. Facilitate people in conflict being fully heard by each other and experiencing connection to their shared humanity
  2. Develop empathy and compassion to connect to others’ experience in challenging conflict situations
  3. Return to presence and connection in the midst of the intensity of conflict
  4. Express yourself from connection with your own needs and those of others
  5. Make and support others in making clear requests to develop collaborative conflict resolution strategies
